Goodnight all!

Tonight I'm not going to post much,  but a quick little bio on the rat pack, one of my favorite groups of all time! I will write a more in depth bio on them tomorrow so stay tuned.

Anyways. the rat pack was a group of 3 crooners from the 1950's by the names of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior and Dean Martin. The three were pertinent in Vegas and were star attractions at local casinos and clubs. They were known for their low singing voices and swinging music. They were generally backed by a big band. Although the "rat pack" were never officially a band (to my knowledge right now) and wrote most of their music separately, their similar music styles blended so well that their shows were flawless. Although everyone remembers Frank Sinatra over Dean and Sammy, the other two achieved their own fame in their own right. That's all I have time for today but look forward to a more in depth bio tomorrow.

I'll leave you with this video though, enjoy!

  1. I sort of wish popular music resorted back to these days. I can see myself living this way.

  10. Have to admit I do like them, really wasn;t aware that they weren't an actual band though! They were succesful because of pure talent, none of this autotuning electronic shite today
